The looks to be a backing store issue caused by an app switch not picked up by hte drag handing...

Open and maximize notepad
Maximize eclipse
Drag a file from the Package explorer abd hit Akt-Tab to switch to Notepad

Move the mouse...the pixels that used to be under the affordance when eclipse was active are painted onto notepad's surface...

Swiss Cheese

That's how it looks like with I20090428-0100 and the Windows Explorer.

It is possible to know when your application is being switched out for another on the desktop (WM_ACTIVATEAPP). Could we make use of this to fix the cheese?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
