Description Marius Slavescu CLA 2006-03-20 14:29:25 EST
This feature would be used to add the FastXPath plugin.

This plugin contains a fast XPath engine that we would use in the TPTP Symptom analysis engine (as the new symptom format uses XPath to specify the rules).

The FastXPath engine works on top of an EMF model and besides of the evaluative mode it provides a mode where the XPath expression is compiled into a Java class which speeds up the evaluation process (this is very close to the hand coded version of code that should evaluate that expression).
Comment 1 Marius Slavescu CLA 2006-03-20 14:58:53 EST
The plugin should be included in the same TPTP feature that includes org.eclipse.tptp.platform.models plugin. Once it is approved I will open a defect for Hubert to do this part.
