Description Ankit Pasricha CLA 2006-02-01 11:55:58 EST
I would like to use the information that a user enters from the current find/replace dialog and add a new button to the dialog to perform a special search that I am writing. The FindReplaceDialog currently is protected and cannot be extended using code/extension pts. It should be made extensible either by exposing the class or through extension points.

There are no plans to open up the find replace dialog.
Comment 2 Dani Megert CLA 2007-06-22 09:59:28 EDT
Get rid of deprecated state.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
