Description Egidijus Vaisnora CLA 2006-01-30 11:23:31 EST
I think, it could be advantage of having possibility to attach my own desired resources for saving into "Save Resources" dialog.
Now this dialog is bound to the workbench part, but if my application has different approach to the resources (can have dirty resources without view or editor and one resource can be represented by several views and editors), then plugging it to eclipse platform is not very convenient. I must to handle my own saving mechanism, which by itself also can’t be done in right way - I can't get any event indicating about workbench pre-close and manage user input. All I get is event about that workbench page was closed but in this case I can't show dialogs for asking user input (workspace is already closed).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
