Currently pinned views of the history view all open with History View as the title. These should in the very least be numbered to allow the user to keep track of the multiple views.

I think this should be done by the platform - otherwise all view providers will have to implement this again and again when they start supporting multiple view instances.

We ran out of time in 3.3 to address the multi-view management plan item.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
