Browsers (Firefox and IE) support a control-scroll combo that allows the user to adjust the size of the text without navigating through a bunch of menus. Often, it's just for that particular file or a few files (a co-worker stops by to look at some code and you'd like to enlarge it for a second to show).

Anyways, it seems like expected behavior (or at least habitually trying) at this point and would be keen to have in Eclipse.

Of course, it'd be useful in GEF views and whatnot but that's not where I spend most of my time.

The only preference I can think of is to set which tie the direction of the scroll with enlargement. I guess "use system direction" versus "invert system direction". Or absolute (scroll up means enlarge text).
