When opening a view, the user sees a tree containing the same folder icon repeated over and over. It would be more meaningful to decorate the folder with a category identifier, like CVS, java, Plug-in, etc.

Did you mean completely new icons or decorators?

It seems like this tree is now displaying the views' icons.
