Description Ben Lindahl CLA 2005-12-12 11:36:04 EST
When you close a project, the dialog that appears shows a clickable cancel button. However, when you click it, the project still closes (close is a difficult operation to reverse, I would assume). The fact that the button appears and is clickable is misleading, leading users to believe that you can cancel closing a project.

I don't see any dialog opening when I close a project. What does this dialog say to you?
Comment 2 Ben Lindahl CLA 2005-12-13 13:23:59 EST
Title: Close Project
Text: Closing Project... / Closing <Project Name>.

Buttons: Run in Background/Cancel/Details >>
Comment 3 Kim Horne CLA 2005-12-13 13:26:59 EST
Huh... I've never seen that dialog. Tod, do you know what circumstances will produce that dialog?
Comment 4 Tod Creasey CLA 2005-12-13 14:10:19 EST
Yes - it is the default dialog when you close. Looking at the code we are not checking for the cancel enough.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
