Description Veronika Irvine CLA 2002-03-13 16:57:19 EST
Eclipse 20020312-I

1) Open the CVS Repositories view and conect to the dev.eclipse.org repository.
2) Select callback.c (version 1.7) in the HEAD stream. It is in
org.eclipse.swt/Eclipse SWT/common/library
3) Also select callback.c (version 1.6) in the Versions folder under the tag
v2030.
4) Select "Compare" from the context menu.

The resulting compare editor says "First bytes differ at position 3633".

In the past, we were able to get a real comparison of these two text files.

This happens when invoking the compare editor in several different ways.

Other C files in SWT seem to work in the compare browser.
