The class org.eclipse.jface.resource.CompositeImageDescriptor does not support 
ImageData with the transparency type SWT.TRANSPARENCY_ALPHA (in its drawImage 
method).
This is very annoying if you want to overlay e.g. two PNG files with alphas set.
If have checked the sources of 3.1 and 3.0 releases.
