I20050927-1200, GTK+ 2.6.8 
 
Quite frequently, when I press "Ctrl+Space" I see "No Template Proposals" 
instead of the regular list. 
 
What I believe is happening is as follows.  I type a variable name and then a 
'.' character.  This automatically (or after a short delay) opens the content 
assist.  However, I quickly press "Ctrl+Space" to bring up the list of 
proposals.  The timing is such that I never see the full list; I only see "No 
Template Proposals". 
 
Maybe I'm slow, but it took my a while to figure out what was going on.  I 
feel this interface is a bit unintuitive.
