Description Michael Seele CLA 2005-09-16 06:06:32 EDT
hi,

please implement two methods in ViewPart that i can override(or a listener) to
know when the view is visible or not visible because i want to pause my
background job when the view is not visible.

We may have mechanisms for this already... Tod?
Comment 2 Tod Creasey CLA 2005-09-19 09:17:39 EDT
You can already tell if you are the focus view because setFocus gets called when
you get it.

What do you mean by visible? Do you mean selected or top of the view stack?
Comment 3 Michael Seele CLA 2005-10-10 03:47:13 EDT
i mean selected...
Comment 4 Tod Creasey CLA 2006-04-07 14:55:30 EDT
There are no plans to work on this feature
Comment 5 Denis Roy CLA 2009-08-30 02:09:52 EDT
As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
