Description Andrew Freeman CLA 2005-09-14 02:15:25 EDT
I would like to see a ultra-lightweight "Find bar" like what Firefox has. If I
am browsing the web with Firefox and I press Ctrl-F, a docked find bar appears
just above the status bar. It has all of the normal find buttons that would
appear in a typical browser Find dialog but are located in a panel instead.

Firefox takes this concept another step by providing an option to automatically
open the Find bar if I start typing on a webpage. The advantage of this is that
an incremental search starts without my ever pressing Ctrl-F.

I see potential for something like this when trying to find text as well as when
I am refactoring.
