Eclipse doesn't have a toolbar: http://www.future-coding.de/temp/eclipse.png

The Welcome page also doesn't appear, no entrys in the Eclipse log.

This doesn't happen for me.  How do you get this to happen?  What VM are you 
running?  Which version of Eclipse?

This is most likely due to misbehaving intro code as it hides the toolbar when toggling between fullscreen 
and regular states.

Does this still happen for you in 3.3?  We we never able to reproduce this.
