Description Pascal Rapicault CLA 2005-08-12 13:42:46 EDT
I came across a case when the user is developing an IDE based application and he
wants, once the workspace location has been picked, ask the user a question (in
this case he wants to ask the user if it can convert its workspace to a new
version). However there is unfortunately no hooks in this place, so for now I
suggested the user to create its own application (a copy of the IDEApplication)
and reuse the IDEAdvisor.

Don't you think it could be interesting to provide a hook?

Reassigning bugs to reflect changes in ownership.

We'd be willing to entertain a patch from the interested party.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
