Description Philipe Mulet CLA 2005-08-11 10:09:04 EDT
Build 3.1.0

When saving a Java editor while a long build is happening, a "User Operation is
Waiting" dialog opens, and the description for the (waiting) save operation is
less than optimal.

It should read: "Saving X.java - ..." instead of "Java - X.java ...".

Comment 2 Philipe Mulet CLA 2005-08-11 10:19:56 EDT
Side question. Given the edited file is in a different project than the one
being built (not even on the required chain of the project being built), the
lock waiting feels arguable.
Comment 3 Dani Megert CLA 2005-08-12 06:18:48 EDT
We run a WorkspaceModifyDelegatingOperation. I see no way to set the label for
that one.

Moving to Platform UI for comment.
Comment 4 Philipe Mulet CLA 2005-08-12 12:04:55 EDT
But how did you get the string "Java" in there ?
Comment 5 Dani Megert CLA 2005-08-15 12:55:40 EDT
Mybe the window / perspective title?
Comment 6 Tod Creasey CLA 2007-06-14 15:01:56 EDT
There are currently no plans to work on this although we would be happy to review a patch

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
