Description Hans van der Meer CLA 2005-08-03 15:15:53 EDT
In the statusline the font can be set (through the control gotten from StatusLineManger), but foreground-
background colors are rigidly fixed in the code of StatusLine. The latter class has package scope and
therefore not easily accessible or extendable.
Neither have I been able to adapt the height of the statusline (seems fixed at its inception) in order to fully
accomodate all the icons I would like to see there.

I would like to see such an ordering of setting the default colors of the statusline, that like for the font
user setting is honored.

More difficult perhaps the wish to be able to apply StatusLineLayoutData (height and width especially) to
the statusline layout. Now its layout is perhaps a little too much shielded.

I believe you want Platform product and UI component rather than eJFace.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
