To duplicate:

1. Open a Java file using the Java editor.  This file should be in a CVS shared
project.
2. Modify the file.
3. Switch to synchronize view.
4. Double-click (or right-click and select "Open in Compare Editor") the
modified file.  The file will open in the compare editor briefly, then switch to
the Java editor.  Both the compare editor and the Java editor will still be open.

If the file is not open in the Java editor the compare editor is shown correctly.

The problem is intermittent, but happens very frequently.
