Description Curtis d'Entremont CLA 2005-07-22 16:10:39 EDT
One of our testers tried exporting a zip out of eclipse using the Export -> Zip
file wizard, and they typed in a file name without the full path (e.g.
"myfile.zip"), exported, but then they couldn't find the file because they
didn't know where it went. Perhaps it would help to have some means of knowing
just by looking at the dialog where it will go if the user types in a relative
path such as just a file name.

I have noticed this too. The file is created in the directory where the
Eclipse executable lives. We will look into an info message or some other
solution to help the user know where things are going in this situation.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
