Its pretty hard to read the cvs synchronize when in flat view. If it were a
table, where the file names were in the first column and the directory/path in
the second column it would be much easier to read.

I agree. Unfortunately, it is a non-trivial change and would need to be done 
in a 100% backwards compatible way. Given this and what I know is already 
planed for 3.2, I doubt this will be able to get addressed.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
