Description Tod Creasey CLA 2002-02-25 12:33:55 EST
The Perspective->Customize As dialog should use groups for the titles rather
than a label so that JAWS picks it up.
Comment 1 Kevin Haaland CLA 2002-03-20 17:42:09 EST
Consider doing this as a post 2.0 enhancement.
Comment 2 Randy Giffen CLA 2002-08-09 12:59:03 EDT
Reopen to investigate
Comment 3 Frank DiPalermo CLA 2004-05-18 09:40:50 EDT
If this refers to the page you get to with Window > Preferences > Perspectives,
it seems OK with JAWS now.
Comment 4 Tod Creasey CLA 2004-05-19 08:04:46 EDT
It is the dialog you get from Window -> Save Perpective As. I'll take this one
and verify the situation in 3.0.
Comment 5 Tod Creasey CLA 2004-05-20 11:50:17 EDT
I have verfied that this is still an issue in 20040520.

We should try and see if we can get the labelling to work by playing with the
parenting of the widgets before we break down and use groups.
Comment 6 Frank DiPalermo CLA 2004-05-20 12:06:23 EDT
This is similar to 60886 which I have on my list to discuss with the JAWS
folks. I will report their comments to 60886 when I return.

Marking as LATER please respond if you think this is critical for 3.0
Comment 8 Tod Creasey CLA 2004-05-25 08:12:27 EDT
I would like to investigate - I think the fix may be quite straightforward.
Comment 9 Tod Creasey CLA 2004-05-27 12:13:19 EDT
It is actually the Save Perspective As dialog we need to look at
Comment 10 Tod Creasey CLA 2004-05-27 12:18:53 EDT
We have it correct now - the problem is that screen readers do not associated
labels with lists.

Having said that I don't think this is a big deal - the entire dialog can be
read and the title is not neccessary for understanding.
