The discovery service view currently presents all discovered services types.

As per discussion on equinox mailing list

it would useful to enhance the discovery service view (and/or ultimately replace it with CQ2038 contribution) to filter service types and filter service information presented.  

This bug is related to (but not dependent upon) the following other discovery view enhancements:  bug 218446, bug 218441, bug 218440

I believe that with the new discovery view UI this has been addressed.  If not, please reopen.

Even the new UI doesn't have filtering (yet).

Btw. please somebody add a 4.0 version in Bugzilla.
