Markus, please add your comments here. You had some negative comments about this recently. Created attachment 71442 [details] Screenshot (In reply to comment #1) The dashed lines look strange with short names and small editor fonts: On first sight, they look like a bunch of randomly placed dashed, since their rectangular form is not completely visible. A fix could be to make sure all corners are drawn with full 3 pixels of horizontal and vertical lines and only start with dashes after the 3 pixels adjacent to the corners. Previous attachment was BMP but was submitted as PNG. This happened because MS Paint was so stupid and saved a BMP into a .png file, and Firefox was so stupid and rendered a file with mime type image/png as BMP without saying a word...

add no-dash-zone to corners
Here's a patch to experiment with no-dash-zones in corners.

add no-dash-zone to corners
Marking patch obsolete as drawing is now done by SWT.
Too late to change defaults. Will make final decision once bug 205728 is fixed. . This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. |
