Re: [science-iwg] Science.eclipse.org updated soon

Thanks for this Werner. I'll put a bug in for the guys. It might be a while though as they focus on urgent things.

Btw. a small detail, but it would be really cool if the Science favicon had a transparent (instead of white) background similar to e.g. that of EclipseCon France.

Other than that it looks nice so far.

Hey Everyone,

The site is back up: https://science.eclipse.org/

There's a bit of i-dotting and t-crossing, but you'll get the essence of it.

We'll take the inspiration ideas for the picture and see if we can't
come up with something great.

More soon,

Andrea

It looks great :-) Just a few comments.

* The twitter feed should probably list @EclipseScience, #EclipseScience instead of @EclipseFdn
* Meeting editor looks better, but attachments must still be text file only. I?d like to add PDF-files.

Best regards,
Torkild

New site looks nice, well done!

A few comments:
https: in Chrome shows security errors, I have attached a screenshot.
No such errors on Edge or Firefox.

It is not obvious how to get to the full project proposal for January
from the link on the homepage. What I tried and didn't work was:

1) "Read More" link under "New Project Proposal: January" on the
homepage, arrives at
http://science.eclipse.org/content/new-project-proposal-january
2) "read more here" link that brings you to
https://projects.eclipse.org/wg/science/proposals
3) there is now an intro paragraph to January that ends in "e entire
struc... more"
4) Pressed the more link, but ended up on
https://projects.eclipse.org/ instead of what I expected which was for
the more to expand (or open) to the rest of that paragraph.

Thanks,
Jonah
