Marcel,

It definitely sounds interesting and I think you should propose a talk on it.

Dear members,

if it is from interest i could give a talk about Bio7:

http://bio7.org

Bio7 is an integrated development environment for ecological modeling and integrates the scientific image analysis
tool ImageJ<http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/>, embedds a complete R statistics<http://www.r-project.org/> GUI and also embedds several simulation panels to create 2D, 3D and georeferenced
Models with NASA WorldWind<http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/java/>.

In a few weeks i will release a new version of the platform which adds some new features like, e.g. an integrated
JavaFX SceneBuilder perspective (to built JavaFX views in Bio7 on the fly), an improved R editor and R GUI and the integration of the JDT Java editor for
the creation and analysis of simulation models (dynamic compilation).

Betreff: [science-iwg] Reminder about EclipseCon 2015 Deadline

Everyone,

On behalf of the Science Working Group Steering Committee, I wanted to send a reminder that the deadline for EclipseCon 2015 talk proposals is the 17th, which is coming up quick. We have only received four submissions for Science Day and they are all related to DAWN and ICE. We have an additional two submissions coming in from ORNL, but we are really hoping to get some other members of the WG to submit talks.

Are any of you planning to submit talk proposals?

Best,
Jay
