I'm not aware of any bugs triage policy for paho-dev Python (or paho-dev
or globally eclipse). Agree that we might need to close some issue in
absence of response from the author. Ideally using some triage bot that
automatically close issue, but I'm not sure to have time looking to
implement this.
About help, yes any help is welcome :) I'm still wanting to make a
release and will still try to do it in October (maybe beginning of
November). So if you do a issues review, please raise to my attention
any issue that must be fixed in next release. I'll also do a such
review, but two reviews is better than one.
I'm aware of main branch not building and
https://github.com/eclipse/paho.mqtt.python/issues/715 that seems small
change and requested by user.
