Dear all,

Kind reminder that no input has been given so far regarding the RPC technology requirements.
We can’t proceed further with the architecture design if no technology is chosen (it affects the topology and thus some adjustments to the architecture might be needed).


While you’re at it, would be good to also comment on the Event Bus technology requirements

Some suggestions for requirements are:

 - external dependencies
 - compliance to standards (is there a JSR for it for example)
 - performance
 - heterogeneous communication (ability to talk to other platforms beside JVM)

Please update the bug page at your earliest convenience with requirements separated in two categories:

 - must have: these are the minimum set. All of them must be fulfilled by a candidate technology. In other words, these are the deal breakers.
 - optional: these are the nice to have set. A technology may still be chosen even if it does not provide any of theses requirements.
