Dear all,

I’d like to point your attention to Bug 457424. As it was done with the other technology matrix documents your input is required in order to validate candidate technologies.

OpenMDM components require an RPC technology that can help them communicate between different JVM processes. The RPC channel could also be used by remote clients/applications that cannot use the REST channel due to network latency, data transfer rate or another constraint. The following is a list of features that can serve as a suggestion

 - license

 - performance

 - ability to be used in heterogeneous systems (i.e Java and non-Java)

Please reply at your earliest convenience to compile the actual list of requirements and continue with the evaluation.
