Hi,

2. I tried mosquitto v1.4.4. I cannot execute it in the background, for example using systemctl/service. Is there any good advise for me to use?

It would help if you could show how you tried to run it and what the error was.

I use Mosquitto with systemd on some systems and I never experienced any issues with this.
