Thank you for this great idea! The Eclipse Foundation is running a Synapse-driven Matrix Infrastructure, just as the iJUG does. As the iJUG's Vice Ambassador at the EF, and as a member of the iJUG Infrastructure Team (and iJUG Matrix Admin), I would like to propose that we are setting up a Matrix Chat Room on the EF's Matrix Infrastructure, and invite all the mentioned people to join it. Regarding Jan (iJUG Ambassador at the EF) and Tobias (iJUG Executive Board Member, JUGS) I am pretty sure both would support that, as I just gave Jan a Matrix account at the iJUG's Matrix Infrastructure recently, and as Tobias himself is also part of the iJUG Infrastructure Team (and iJUG Matrix Admin, besides me, Marcus Fihlon from JUG CH and iJUG Executive Board Member Stefan Koospal from JUG Deutschland). However, the participating group in the Jakarta EE working group has 15 members. As your representative in the Steering Committee, I would like to create a communication channel with all of you.
