Re: [iot-wg] Californium 1.0.0 released

Hi Ian,

your expectation is totally justified and we will try to meet up to it during the next weeks. However, since Californium is basically a set of libraries that we expect to be used in either Maven, Gradle or Ant based Java projects our primary goal was to make the artifacts available via Maven Central and the Eclipse repos.

Regarding documentation, we will definitely need to improve on that front (e.g. getting started guide, tutorials etc.). For the time being, you should be able to get started based on the documentation in the GitHub repos (which you can find links for on the project homepage [1]) and in particular the example projects that you can find in the repos.

If you need help with getting started, please feel free to get in touch via the developer mailing list [2].
