The project's dev list hadn't been set up correctly in the PMI, so the system didn't know where to send the messages. I fixed this for Eclipse Scanning.

All project committers should ensure that they are members of the scanning-dev mailing list (there's a link on your contact page now, :-)).

The new implementation that we're working on will not let you start an election (and tell you why) if the list is not configured.

The last time we had an election on science/scanning the initial announcement and every vote cast caused a message to be sent to the [scanning-dev] mailing list.

 

For a committer election started today, we have seen no e-mails at all until I sent one manually asking people to vote.

 

Has something changed in the way committer elections are notified to their relevant mailing list, or should I report something wrong with our list?
