Re: [ee4j-pmc] Report of inactive committers.

Steve,
Since "contributions" can mean so many different things, you probably have to collect data from several sources.  For example, look at the github repo(s) commits (ie. https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/graphs/contributors).  Or, maybe look at their github profile and their associated commit history (ie. https://github.com/kwsutter).  Or, look at contributions to the mailing list(s) (ie. https://www.eclipse.org/lists/jakartaee-platform-dev/2020/Aug/index.html).  I have found this latter exercise very tedious, time-consuming, and error-prone (since there is still no search that works exclusively on a mailing list).  If your project uses other communication mechanisms (ie. google groups, slack, etc), then those probably need to be looked at as well.

I am not aware of anything easier.  Maybe somebody from the EF knows of other reports?  Ivar?

All,

The Eclipse Development Process defines inactive as made no contribution for an extended period where extended is over 6 months. Does anybody know if a project lead can get a report of inactive committers for their project?
