Hi Kevin,
According to my experience, if a person is not listed on a project’s Who’s Involved page it doesn’t mean that this person is not a committer. You should check the proposals. If a person is listed there it may be an issue with his/her Eclipse account creation. Wayne can help there. If a person is not listed in the proposal you should start elections.
Thanks, Dmitry
Hi Dmitry,One of the things that we have discovered
during this process is that some of our proposed initial committers from
IBM (for various EE4J projects) didn't actually become committers. In
some cases, it's probably due to our IBMer not taking the appropriate action.
But, in other cases, it looks like not all of the names on our spreadsheet
successfully made it to the actual project proposals... In any case,
it really doesn't matter. I would just like to understand the process
for getting these proposed initial committers as actual committers now
that the projects are actually created. Do we just need to propose
these people as committers on the various projects? Wayne, what's the best way to resolve this situation? Wayne, is there a "user search" mechanism in Eclipse? I
volunteered many different people across several organizations to help
with the Jakarta EE efforts... I'd like to do a search of the IBM
employees that are active with the various EE4J projects. I know
some of them used their own accounts. And, some of them didn't follow
through with their committer paperwork. But, I'd still like to narrow
down the list from all IBMers in the Eclipse Foundation... :-) Thanks.Yes. It’s a good idea. It would be nice to have a web
page listing all EE4J projects with leads, committers and organisation
they work for. Realtime data. --------------------------------------------------- Kevin Sutter STSM, MicroProfile and Java EE architect e-mail:

Hi,
As we discussed on the PMC meeting yesterday, I added information about
project leads and vendors leading the project to the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1e8inaprMOjnq04hU2o76egHhC8AF3-vNvqjRq6GR0eM/edit#gid=0
I am asking IBM, Red Hat, Tomitribe and Payara to review the document and
take actions of assigning responsible developers to these tasks.
