I would just update the offending files and re-post the zip file for the
initial contribution.  (I think you can even delete the old zip file.)  I
suppose another approach would be to create a new issue for this problem and it
could be cleaned up after the repo is populated.  I just don't want to +1 the
contribution without any record or process for remembering to clean this up.
