Hi Alexander,

I think it is fine to merge changes LSP in 10.0.0 RC2 - LSP4E are planning on releasing the fix later this week. Ideally we should have all the CDT changes done by this week, giving us time to test and respin before the final simrel build date which is next Monday.

For anyone else following along - any API changes after RC1 have a very high bar to be accepted - the LSP changes being discussed here are not really a problem because the LSP parts of CDT have never been released before.

The blocking LSP4E bug was merged, the corresponding Gerrits are ready and waiting for review.

With the latest changes LS needs explicit activation for each project and can hardly harm in the case of unintentional install.
