I don't know which is not compatible, but for me Neon.2 is practically unusable:

- on MacOS the HiRes fonts rendering does not display fonts properly and the lower part of the characters is not visible
- the change in the console code made the additional consoles used by GNU ARM Eclipse debug plug-ins invisible
- on Windows, probably related to the consoles changes, the GNU ARM Eclipse debug plug-ins hang during startup
