Re: [Wtp-wst-dev] XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS etc

Have you looked at the IBM initial contribution on from WTP web site? The editors (with source) are contained it there.
The intent is to move that source to CVS at an appropriate "split" point (the exact date is being worked on, but is anticipated
to be "in a month or two". I suspect any initial evaluation you'd want to do could be done by importing the source to your workspace,
(look for plugins with 'sse' in them to get started). But, if not being in CVS is in some way very limiting for you, let us know and
that will influence some of our priorities of tasks).

I'd appreciate hearing what you think of the editors in that contribution, and what ways you might see to contribute to them.
(The API's and dependancies need a lot of clean up, but all the basics are there).

Thanks,

David

[Wtp-wst-dev] XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS etc

I notice that the WTP project is in charge of creating new document
editors for various file formats like XML/XSLT.

I'd like to inquire about what the status of these editors are, who is
planning to work on them, and when do you anticipate having a release? I
was looking through the cvs for plugin sources and realize many of these
plugin project directories are empty, suggesting that many of the
editors do not exist yet or may have yet to be designed.

I have an Eclipse plugin project that would be very interested in being
able to use these editors, I am also an Apache Jakarta Commons commiter
at this time. I may have an interest in assisting in the development of
these tools if there are others who are also motivated.
