There actually is an I-Build that contains the fix to the compiler:

But, you'll want to read some discussion on platform-releng-dev list:

Basic conclusion ... that I build would not be recommended for "wide
spread" use as desktop IDE ... but ... the compiler (and PDE build bundles)
might be ok.
So ... it'd be a little risky to move to that build ... but for batch
build, I would not think too risky.
(And, might be a bit before there is another "good I-build" since we are
moving the platform's build to build.eclipse.org. )

Folks,
Since the latest WTP 3.4.0 build just had another 5,120
"compilation
errors", I thought I ought to give everyone a heads up on what is
happening, why, and how soon it should stop.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=372319 appears to be the
cause of these problems, and it has been fixed in the Eclipse 3.8 M7
stream. (It was introduced in M2.) The fix does not yet appear to be in
an integration build. I am not sure if there will be a 3.8 M7 integration
build this week, since EclipseCon is going on. Once I see that there is an
integration build that includes this bug fix, I will move us up to that
level, and hopefully we will not encounter any more problems- random or
otherwise. So for the near future, we may still see these random errors.
Once I see that that is the cause for the build failure, I will restart the
build.
