+1, since I think there are a number
of good ideas in there.

The current proposal is a good start,
but I think it should also mention submitting the relevant DTDs and Schemas
for inclusion in WTP and in the supplied XML Catalog.  Editing and
validation when disconnected could be hampered otherwise.  Also, the
parts under the "JSP features" section has been implemented since
2.0; it can be excised.

Of concern, however, is that the contributions
on bug 196418
don't appear to make use of the XML source editing in WTP at all.

Kiril Mitov has proposed a new incubation component, for editing TLDs.

To me, this seems an appropriate component to be incubating in WTP Incubator
Project. 


Other members of WTP Incubator, please read the proposal and vote +1 if
you agree with me, 
or -1 if you object, and explain why you think not appropriate as an incubating
component. 

While I'm not sure I agree with EMF Editing approach that is being used
so far in the proposal, 
I do agree it's worthwhile to pursue and see what comes of this general
need, and what community response is gained, 
so here's my 
+1
