[wtp-dev] Re: [wtp-releng] wtp.quiet system property - no joy 2

Oh, and I meant to say ... there are builds on the build site, but do not be fooled by the green check marks .... that just means no tests were ran, in this case, not that they all passed.
I supposed the hardy could go ahead and try to test those builds, but ... the build will have to be re-spun.

Lawrence, I recommend you back out your changes so we can get a good RC build, if indeed you think they are the source of the problem.

David

And, remember Lawrence (and other committers) before you release a build breaking change, you must get confirmation of your request *before* releasing to a build.

I had to forcefully "kill" one build (the test run, actually) that was hung, I assume due to the dialog problem, before Naci had had time to make the change.

We'll see how the next one does, if Naci's change is enough, or if it will also hang.

See another blocking bug with this new function at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=103611

Re: [wtp-releng] wtp.quiet system property

Lawrence,

I added the property to releng.builder test run java call as both VM
argument as system property.  However, please be aware that the the test
run invokes each test using the test.xml scripts inside the tests
plugins.  You may have to add your parameter there to.

The releng.builder with the tag v20050713_0715 is released to be used
for the coing builds.
