FYI, I can almost guarantee a "no" vote from Web services. There are about a dozen major/critical/blocker bugs parked against Web services. We are chipping away at them, but they will not all get resolved today, and I believe we'll have a few remaining that are too serious to leave unfixed in 0.7.

Cheers - CB.

[wtp-dev] WTP 0.7 RC1 Declaration Schedule

On behalf of the PMC, here's the schedule for declaring RC1. Our target is to declare tomorrow, July 12:

1. All developers should release any fixes that are targetted for RC1 no later than 8 PM EDT today. We will build the RC1 candidate based on code released by 8PM.

2. The RC1 candidate build will be available by midnight EDT, at which time CruiseControl will be suspended.

3. All developers should perform testing on the RC1 candidate tomorrow and report any severe problems.

4. Component leads should post a Go/No Go vote to this list by 4:00PM EDT July 12.

5. If the vote is favourable, we will declare RC1.
6. Otherwise, we will identify problems that need to be resolved. Each must have a bug open. Only fixes for those bugs should be released. We will rebuild as required until those bugs are resolved.
