RE: [vtp-dev] New versions
|
Right
exactly, same for Avaya tools you can do either vxml app only
or
ccxml
and vxml. I was just curious if any one really
uses
the
<script> tag in ccxml and was searching for "real"
ccxml
apps.
Thanks,
Ross
I haven't
personally, but it appears to be the W3C's direction for standardizing call
control. From the VTP perspective, it costs us very little resource to support
editing CCXML on top of VoiceXML&SRGSXML so it is at worst unused
functionality by those who don't need/want it. If someone used the VTP as a
base but didn't care for CCXML they could just remove it by taking away the
plugins.

Have you ever seen any "real world" ccxml applications.
Everything
I see on the
net are just "toy" ccxml applications.
Ross Yakulis (Avaya).

No, I have
seen no issues with WTP 1.0.1. But I really don’t exercise much of it.

Since we're 'off plan' at this point I'd like to get more
feedback from those on the list on what would go into a new cycle. I can think
of a few things that could be done ahead of new major features:
-
Defect resolution (not many on the books)
- Compatibility with WTP 1.0.1
(So far there hasn't been many problems)
Mike, have you noticed any
issues with 1.0.1? I haven't.

I have made a couple of changes to the Tellme browser plug-in
since the release candidate was done.
It would be great to have those
changes incorporated into the candidate. One thing I added is a marker on the
https requests to Studio so I can track how much Studio activity we are
getting from VTP – don’t know why I did not think of that sooner.
Also, I
suppose it is about time to roll to a new version for the plug-ins, 1.0.1.
