[vtp-dev] Update

Hi,

As we continue to refine the builds I thought I'd stop and fill in everyone on what's going on. The march to stabilization continues, with largely minor defects or enhancement requests remaining. Still, even those continue to dwindle. If you have been noticing odd behavior, please consider opening a bug! Now is the time to investigate any seemingly innocent problems you may encounter. Along with this there are a number of defects that need to be verified. If you opened any bugs please take the time to verify that they are fixed in the latest builds.

One issue that arose this week is the lack of notice.html/epl-v10.html in zip file root directories. As this is a requirement of all Eclipse.org software I've updated our build scripts to include the files in the eclipse/ directory and revised all available builds. Since the WTP all in one SDK contains these files too you'll now get a notice to overwrite existing files when you install VTP builds.

Along with code there are a number of documentation updates pending, notably surrounding the launching of a VoiceXML session. This should be resolved within a few days. Much of the content will be mirrored on the web site in the form of tutorials, such as how the getting started guide on the VTP web site will make an appearance in both the Eclipse documentation and on the web. In terms of upcoming presentations there is a short talk scheduled at EclipseCon next month for the VTP. If you are attending be sure and stop by!
