Michael has identified a fix for this
defect. Due to its severity I have spun a new build to incorporate the
fix, which may be obtained here:

As the fix only affects the browser
please focus testing there. If no serious problems are identified this
will be marked as the milestone later tonight.

While testing the build today I noticed a pattern emerging of the browser's
odd runs not connecting on one machine:

Has anyone else seen this behavior? If so, please add a comment to the
bug.
