[ve-dev] Suggestions for 1.5

Hi,

 

I heard you are finally reviving the vep project.

I am really waiting to see it have an official release hosted at the eclipse site, again.

 

I wish to suggest some stuff for the next version (1.5): (which is a summary of stuff i said in the past and maybe some new stuff)

• Group layout support, with all the good snapping it offers.
• Remove the task bar icon that the ve adds for the window it uses for polling. (Probably will require some jni stuff)
• Single VM.
• Ability to edit code from other editors and code that was created manually.
• Making the events menu not create the same events twice.
• A visual studio like events window.
