your sample project zip does not contain symlinks.
zip format (or jar for that matter) has no official support for symlinks

if you think it's a bug, open one and supply the sample project as tar.gz

Be specific about expected vs observed behaviour and for which Tycho version it works and from which Tycho version on it no longer works.

Hello,

I am using the tycho 1.0.0 version which seems to have a bug with the 
symbolic links encapsulation. Previously I was using the 0.21.0 version 
which got the symbolic link bundled within the jar. But with  the 1.0.0 
version  all symbolic links are missing.

Is this a bug or any clue to avoid this problem ?
