Check your target platform or run Maven with the -X flag so that it will dump the artifact used while compiling

Yes, the version in your MANIFEST is a requirement and it opens for a greater version

Check your target platform as it may be using a different Xtext version ?

I really do not know why I don't have ny errors in the workspace, but when Tycho tries to compile the bundle it fails.
