Uhhm. Since download.eclipse.org having such troubles from time to time, 
we maintain mirrors of all build-critical repositories within our local 
network. I'm using the p2-scripts, which are mentioned on this list 
before. They do the job pretty well:

I'm hosting the mirrors within the same Jetty where the Nexus runs in 
(just added a second RessourceHandler).  Regards,
