Hi,

With Trace Compass patches related to Bug 580854 [1], data provider APIs were moved from internal packages to public packages. With this they became supported APIs which downstream projects can work with. They will be released in Trace Compass 8.2.0 end of the year.

The Trace Compass incubator project had already used these APIs while being still internal. The incubator code base in master branch has been aligned to these new public APIs. During this alignment work, some submitted incubator patches by contributors failed to build by the Gerrit verification job. To get successful builds, please rebase all your patches to the latest in master branch and re-submit them. Sorry for the inconvenience.
